An Authentic Dinning Experience
My passion has always been food. After completing school, I joined a cooking institute run by Michelin-star chef Alfons Schuhbeck in Germany, and later trained under the ‘godfather of Italian gastronomy’ Antonio Carluccio. In 1994, I acquired a heritage residence overlooking the Arabian Ocean in Baga’s busiest lane, and turned it into an elegant restaurant that has been patronised by well-known personalities from across India.
My father was a fashion designer in Germany; his sense of design and elegance has rubbed off on me and is highly evident in the décor at Fiesta – The Restaurant. Since the age of three, I have spent winters in Goa and summers in Europe – in Germany, Italy, France and Spain – so a lot of the love of culture and Mediterranean food I enjoyed at home has stayed with me.
At Fiesta, my menu features contemporary takes on a wide variety of European cuisine, with an emphasis on the Mediterranean – Greek, Spanish, Italian and French, all expertly combined and paired to bring you a singular dining experience.
